What if you could close down a city street, and use it for a few hours of good, healthy, family fun?
You’d have OpenStreetsPGH. Come down and join us to walk, run, bike and skate through the streets of Pittsburgh. It’s a whole new way to look at your city. And a whole new way to have fun with your friends and family.
Take a look at our route map to see just how much fun you can pack into four-and-a-half miles from Downtown to the Strip District to Lawrenceville!
Want to play a larger role in OpenStreetsPGH? Be a sponsor or an event day volunteer. Learn how you can get involved in making sure each Sunday this summer is as fun as it can be!

OpenStreetsPGH is open to pedestrians of all kinds, so you can:
Run your own race on the 3.5 miles of open road
Bike through Lawrenceville, The Strip, and Downtown
Skateboard, Rollerblade, or Roller Skate in the street
Walk at your leisure and explore the businesses of Pittsburgh
Sightsee from a new perspective
Dance or do yoga
If you can do it without a motorized vehicle, you can probably do it at OpenStreetsPGH.
OpenStreetsPGH is part of a movement called Ciclovia, which includes 100s of cities across the globe. OpenStreetsPGH is also a group of businesses, neighbors, non-profits, and others who want to help Pittsburgh be the healthiest, most active, and happiest city it can be.
